Terms of Service

These Terms are a contract between you and CR3W Ltd ("LOVBIRD", "we", "us") for use of the website lovbird.app and its content. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them.

1. Who can use LOVBIRD

You must be 18 years or older. LOVBIRD contains mature romantic themes intended for adults. We may suspend accounts where we believe the holder is under 18.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. One person per account. You may delete your account at any time from My Wallet → Delete account; coins and VIP time remaining are forfeited on deletion.

3. What you get

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to stream content on lovbird.app for your own private viewing. You may not download, record, copy, share, re-upload or publicly perform any content, or circumvent access controls. All content is owned by or licensed to CR3W Ltd.

4. Coins and VIP

Episodes beyond the free ones are unlocked with coins or with a VIP subscription. Full details, including refund rights, are in the Coins, VIP & Refunds section, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Changes to the service

Series may be added, extended or removed. If we permanently remove a series in which you have unlocked episodes with coins within the previous 30 days, we will refund those coins to your wallet. We may change coin prices, episode prices and VIP prices; changes never apply to purchases already made.

6. Acceptable use

Don't scrape, automate, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service; don't use it for anything unlawful; don't upload or post anything (e.g. in support messages) that is abusive or infringes others' rights.

7. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for interruptions caused by your device, connection, or third-party services.

8. Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. Where we close an account without breach, we will refund unused purchased coins and the unused portion of any VIP period.

9. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. UK consumers may bring claims in their local courts. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

Coins, VIP & Refunds

Coins

Coins are a virtual currency usable only on LOVBIRD to unlock episodes. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, exchanged or withdrawn.
Purchased coins are bought in packs. Bonus coins (welcome bonus, daily check-in, pack bonuses) are free promotional coins and are spent before purchased coins.
Each unlocked episode stays unlocked on your account permanently (unless the account is deleted).
Coin and episode prices are shown before every purchase. Prices include VAT where applicable.

VIP

VIP is a subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly) that unlocks every episode of every series for the paid period, with no coins needed.
VIP renews automatically at the end of each period at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. We'll email you a reminder before any yearly renewal.
Cancel any time from My Wallet → Manage subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep VIP access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase. Because coins and VIP give you immediate access to digital content, when you buy you expressly request that we start supplying it straight away and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once supply begins. You confirm this with the tick box at checkout.

Refunds we will give

Coins purchased in error, not yet spent, requested within 14 days — full refund.
A VIP purchase where you have not watched any locked episode, requested within 14 days — full refund.
Duplicate charges, or content that is faulty and we cannot fix — refund of the affected amount.
Your statutory rights are not affected.

Refunds go back to the original payment method (processed by Stripe) within 5–10 business days. Email lcnwolfe@gmail.com with the email address on your account.

Privacy Policy

CR3W Ltd is the data controller. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO registration no. C1922990).

What we collect and why

Account: email address, password (hashed), age confirmation, account creation date — to run your account (contract).
Purchases: coin/VIP purchases, wallet balance, transactions — to deliver what you bought and for accounting (contract, legal obligation). Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
Viewing: which episodes you unlocked and daily check-ins — to remember your progress and prevent abuse (contract, legitimate interest).
Emails from us: new-episode and account emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time; service emails (receipts, renewals) are sent regardless.
Technical: IP address and basic logs from our hosting provider for security (legitimate interest). We do not use advertising trackers.

Who processes your data

Supabase (database & authentication, hosted in the EU — Stockholm)
Stripe (payments — Stripe privacy policy)
Vercel (website hosting and video delivery)

We do not sell your data. We share it only with these processors, or where the law requires.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted within 30 days of you deleting it. Purchase records are kept for 6 years as required by UK tax law.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). Delete your account from My Wallet, or email lcnwolfe@gmail.com.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary storage: your login session, your 18+ confirmation, and your interface preferences. No advertising or analytics cookies, so no cookie banner is required.

Content & AI disclosure

All LOVBIRD series are works of fiction. Characters, names and events are imaginary; any resemblance to real people is coincidental. All characters depicted are adults.

LOVBIRD content is created with the assistance of generative AI tools (imagery, video, voice and music), directed, written and edited by our team. No real person's likeness or voice is used without permission.

Content is romantic and mature in theme but contains no sexually explicit material. It is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
