LOVBIRD's vampire romance is The Duke Who Waited Two Hundred Years. Lucian Wolf was turned in 1677 and became the Duke of Blackthorn. In 1824 his wife Elena died in his arms, murdered because she loved him. He burned the men who did it, and then he waited in the dark for the world to give her back.

Two hundred years later, a modern woman called Sophie is driving home when something pulls her off the road and through the oak doors of his moonlit manor. She has Elena's face. He calls her his destiny; she calls it kidnapping. She is free to roam the manor, he tells her, but not free to leave, and the forest folds her back to his gate every time she runs.

It is a gothic love story of fated lovers and reincarnation, told in candlelight: a silver locket with her own face inside, a hunter at the gate, a masquerade ball held in her honour, a chapel of candles and an eternal night. Twelve vertical episodes of about a minute each, every one ending on a cliffhanger, and the whole series takes less time than a single film. The first two episodes are free.
