About Meet Me on the Ice
It is the weeks before Christmas in London, and the outdoor ice rink is glowing with golden lights and Christmas trees. Elena, all dark curls and white earmuffs, insists she can skate. The ice disagrees. She loses her balance, and a tall stranger in a long ivory coat catches her before she falls.
His name is Lucian. He is calm, quietly amused and in no particular hurry to put her down. She is witty, warm and determined to prove she can skate, which she cannot, not remotely. By the time they reach the hot chocolate stall beside the rink they have known each other for eight minutes, and it has been a very informative eight minutes: whipped cream, an almost-kiss and a gentle insult about her skating. Neither of them is planning on leaving.
Meet Me on the Ice is a cosy, nostalgic Christmas romcom with the feel of a 90s holiday movie: strangers to lovers, a meet-cute on the ice, twinkling lights, banter and mistletoe. It is light and sweet rather than dark, a short Christmas love story you can watch in a few minutes, in episodes of about thirty seconds each.
New episodes are on the way. The first three episodes are free with no account.
