About The Duke Who Waited Two Hundred Years
Episode 9: He Comes for Her — In a candlelit crypt, the masked family learns what happens to those who touch what is his. He carries her home, and offers a ring from another century.
Two hundred years ago, Elena, Duchess of Blackthorn, died in her husband's arms. Lucian Wolf, the vampire Duke of Blackthorn, burned the men who killed her, and then he sat down in the dark and waited for the world to give her back.
Tonight it does. Sophie is twenty-six and modern, and she was only driving home when something pulled her off the road and through the oak doors of a moonlit gothic manor. The man at the ballroom window knows her scent before he sees her face. He calls her his destiny. She calls it kidnapping.
The Duke Who Waited Two Hundred Years is a vampire dark romance about fated lovers and reincarnation. Lucian is possessive, patient and terrifyingly calm: the gates of Blackthorn will not open for her, the forest folds her back to his door, and every time she runs he is already waiting. Sophie argues, refuses and runs anyway. She is not Elena, she tells him. It does not matter, he answers, because her soul remembers him.
What follows is a gothic love story told in candlelight: a silver locket with her own face inside, a hunter at the gate, a masquerade ball held in her honour, a chapel full of candles, and an eternal night. It is a short drama in eleven vertical episodes of about a minute each, every one ending on a cliffhanger. The first three episodes are free to watch on LOVBIRD. For adults, 18+.
