About The Last Kingdom of Light

Episode 6: The Homecoming — A wordless homecoming as the riders return to the hearth they fought for.

In the golden kingdom of Aurelia, they say the sun does not set; it simply waits for its warriors to come home. Here the women ride to war on golden griffins. They are the shield. The men keep the hearth. They are the heart.

Then a shadow falls. The Umbra and its eclipse come out of the wastes to feed on Aurelia's light, and Elara, the First Rider, calls the Sisters of the Sun into the sky. They do not fight for glory. They fight for their lovers, for their children, and so that the people they love may live in the light. Elara fights for one man in particular: Lucian, who keeps the hearth and has promised he will be there when she comes home.

What follows is a war in the sky of gold and bone, a moment when the darkness whispers that everything is lost, and a victory that costs more than anyone expected. At the very end there is a golden bloom, and a love story told in a single gesture.

The Last Kingdom of Light is an epic fantasy romance with griffins, a warrior heroine and a narrator who tells it like a legend. Seven episodes of about thirty seconds each. Complete; the first three episodes are free.
