About Falling for the Christmas Stranger
Episode 6: The Invitation — White roses, a card and a table for two. Sophie chooses the red dress and his coat.
London, Christmas Eve, 1987. Snow on the pavements, lights in every window, and Sophie, a glamorous and slightly chaotic party planner, is running late with her arms full of shopping. Outside a grand hotel her heel finds the ice, and a tall stranger catches her before she hits the ground. Flustered, she thanks him and walks off with his shopping bag instead of hers.
The stranger is Lucian: calm, dry-witted and quietly amused by everything she does. He also turns out to be the pianist she has been chasing to play her Christmas Eve party. He will do it on one condition. She has to be his plus-one.
What follows is a light, flirty strangers-to-lovers Christmas romcom: a hotel Christmas party where her entrance involves a glass of red wine and a white fur coat, his coat around her shoulders, a race through the snow for the last black cab, and a ride across London with his hand warming hers. More banter than danger, more mistletoe than menace.
A cosy 80s Christmas love story told in vertical episodes of one to two minutes. New episodes are being added, and the first three episodes are free. For adults (18+).
